ComfortClear Shield was developed due to the COVID-19 pandemic prompting new protocols introduced for dentistry. Face shields suspended from the head left an opening at the bottom, where protection was needed the most, and interfered with critical eyewear. Once the concept of wearing a shield secured around the neck came to mind ComfortClear Shield was born. Many designs were made and improved until it functioned satisfactorily. From an innovative dentist to the world, it is hoped that ComfortClear Shield will make safety comfortable.
